Tama soma jyothirgamaya

The sanskrit word Veda – Knowledge , wisdom its derived from the root word VID – to know. The Upanishads says ‘ Tama soma jyothirgamaya’ – it means free us from darkness to light. The ultimate truth is the same in all religion. Children will be introduced to stories, parables and teachings from The Bhagavad Gita, Maha Bharata, Ramayana, Bhagvatham, Vedas, Upanishads and so on….. They will also be assesed in all these spheres of Sacred Space. There are many questions and answers unknown some shrouded in orthodox views and beliefs. But if screened through scientific explanation & experienced through moments of contemplation. The vedanta in its simple form can be applicable to a child to form the basis of learning which leads his journey.

Yagna - A way of life

Devan bhavayatanena te deva bhavayantu vah – Parasparam bhavayantah sreyaj param avapsyatha The demigods, being pleased by sacrifices, will also please you, and thus, by cooperation between men and demigods, prosperity will reign for all. There are two basic energy systems in the physical world heat and sound. In performing Yagna these two energies namely the heat from yagnas fire and the sound of the chanting of the gayatri and other vedic mantras achieve the desired physical, psycological and spiritual benefits. For Yagna literally means to offer, worship, sacrifice. As we place the ahuthi (offerings) into the flame we symbolically offer all or negativities like anger, greed, jealousy, grudges, hatred, pains, and pray to make us pure and simple as the offering we give to agni, It is through realization appreciation and experiencing the benefits in physical, psycological, social and environmental and spiritual sphere that an SVS child (based on scientific studies) will learn to give back to nature which reaps rich success. Conducting a Yajna, the children will understand & experience success behind “ Heal the atmosphere – the healed atmosphere will heal You”

Meditation

Stress can be so lethal that its impact can be felt through physical symptoms first like irritability, inability, concentrate, headaches a fast heart beat and also deep within you it kills brain cells, shrinks the brain adds fat to the stomach and reduces learning capacity & memory. Pressure to perform, insecurity and competition takes its toll. A child can handle stress by yogic techniques, rational thinking, and positive comparision. The mind naturally resents being controlled or restrained, gets bored doing the same thing over and over again. Constantly craves newer and more sensational experiences. Todays child needs to understand his racing mind racing emotion & and unfettered thoughts to become a caring balanced & sensitive child. Every time to combat accumulating pressure on a child from all quaters a child needs to concentrate & meditate. Meditation is a rational method that cuts through conventional perception and teaches guides, supports a child to live in the present moment and cultivate wisdom & mindfulness for in todays scenario a child should be able to handle TIME – the CURRENCY of life. Meditation is an act of clearing the mind, promotes relaxation, builds up inner subtle energies, reduces stress, emotional negativities, depression, improves concentration, memory stands boosted and strengthens will power.

Shwasa(Yoga)

Yoga is not a religion it is a way of living whose aim is a healthy mind in a healthy body. As per principles of physics all matter is nothing but vibrations – atoms and molecules vibrating at various frequencies. When we go deeper into our mind every thought emotion and feeling has an natural vibrating rhythm of their own. In physics when two waves of similar frequencies collide with each other their force can be magnified many times. Something similar happens with our emotions when their frequency matches the rhythm of the breathing pattern. In Yoga through asanas and pranayama every child of SVS can expel hidden emotions up to surface and it is likely their these given emotions force gets weakened. Because every thought, feeling is represented by a certain configuration of billions of neurons in the brain all interconnected in a huge mesh of networks. Depending upon the trigger one of these network configurations gets activated which vibrates at its own natural frequency giving rise to a specfic emotions anger (for ex. ) so practice of yoga involving rhythmic breathing pattern can positively influnence your child pattern of emotions which will help them perform all actions more objectively and lead a healtheir, happier and fullfilling life. Yogic exercises recharge the body with cosmic energy this facilitates
